The latest update for GarageBand made a lot of changes. Here we list some of the most important:

  • You can now use the Drum Machine as a stand-alone app.
  • The MIDI keyboard now supports aftertouch.
  • The Arpeggiator instrument has been updated with new features.
  • You can now add your own custom patterns to the Arpeggiator.
  • The Alchemy synth has been updated with new features.
  • There are now over 150 new Alchemy presets.
  • The Smart Controls interface has been updated with new features.
  • You can now map your own MIDI controller to Smart Controls.
